1 x 28.9K – 3m Static Rope

This 28,900kg static rope keeps firm tension with no stretch. It works well as a bridle to distribute load between anchor points or as an extension when you need extra length in a recovery setup.

2 x 15K Soft Shackles with Sheath

A static rope holds its length under load, so it’s used when you don’t want movement in the line. It suits recoveries where the vehicle needs to be pulled slowly or kept in position, such as towing, winching setups, or when using a bridle to spread load between two points.

Kinetic ropes rely on stretch and are designed for snatch recoveries where a stuck vehicle needs a strong pull to break free. If you don’t need that stored energy, and you want controlled, steady tension instead, the static rope is the better option.

Why choose soft shackles over D-shackles?

Soft shackles do the same job as a D-shackle but with less weight and more flexibility. They attach easily to different recovery points because they can wrap around shapes where a metal shackle will not sit properly. They also have clear load ratings, so you can match them to the rest of your gear.
