The Inazuma (lightning) carbon rods from Rovex have been meticulously designed and optimised for Aussie anglers at the cutting edge of lure fishing. These innovative, high-performance graphite rods are perfect for targeting predatory Aussie fish using the latest techniques in soft plastics, blades, vibes and more.

Precisely constructed with military-grade high-modulus carbon technology, the blanks are lightweight with fast, yet progressive actions. They cast with remarkable power, have plenty of sensitivity in the tip for detecting bites and setting hooks, and have loads of strength for fighting and turning rampaging fish.

Equipped with the latest XO 316 Stainless Steel guides with ZR Zirconia Guide Inserts, the rods are sleek and cast like a dream. SPXL6101 1-3KG 6’10”
The Inazuma 1-3kg spin model is an ultra-light bream, whiting and freshwater rod that is lightweight and sensitive. This rod will flick small hardbodies and soft plastics a mile. The rod packs plenty of power, has a responsive tip and progressive load to delicately set hooks and keep fish pinned. The Inazuma 1-3kg rod is perfect for stalking trout streams, fishing estuary flats for bream and whiting, or for hiking tropical streams for jungle perch. The rod features an ergonomic split-grip design and a low-profile locking nut so that you can keep your finger on the blank and detect subtle bites.

SPL6101 2-4KG 6’10”
The Inazuma 2-4kg spin rod is the all-round light tackle option for species such as bream, flathead, perch, bass, sooty grunter, saratoga and jungle perch. This is the rod to grab for most light estuary and freshwater fishing techniques with soft plastics, blades, and hardbodies. The rod packs plenty of punch for casting light lures, the tip is perfect for twitching plastics and the blank has plenty of guts for stopping solid fish. SPLM701 3-6KG 7’
The Inazuma 3-6kg spin rod features a progressive blank with plenty of power and strength. It’s designed for targeting flathead, snapper, large bass and perch, creek-dwelling mangrove jack and smaller inshore pelagic species such as tailor and Australian salmon. This is the rod to grab for rolling 3-4 inch soft plastic swimbaits across sandbars, dropping lightly weighted minnows on inshore snapper grounds, working smaller spinnerbaits around timber and weed for bass and yellowbelly, ripping small metals, or working small vibes. SPM701 4-8KG 7’
The Inazuma 4-8kg spin model is designed for heavy-duty estuary and freshwater fishing and inshore fishing. The rod is fast, powerful and has plenty of backbone. It’s perfect for jigging 5-6 inch plastics around inshore reefs, rolling soft plastic swimbaits around snags, spinning metals in open water and for vibing down deep. The Inazuma 4-8kg rod excels on species such as barramundi, mulloway, Murray cod, inshore pelagics, reef fish and snapper. This model features a full rear and fore grip design to maximise leverage and handling control. The sleek low-profile locking nut also provides excellent reel security and a double-foot stripper guide adds additional loading strength.

SPMH701 6-10KG 7’
The largest spin model in the range is a 6-10kg heavy-duty inshore and reef rod. This model is perfect for casting metal lures, jigging 5-7 inch soft plastics, and working vibes. It’s the rod for species like kingfish, queenfish, mulloway, coral trout, big snapper, and other reef-dwelling or inshore-pelagic species. The rod also handles oversize barramundi and Murray cod in rivers and dams. The rod features a full rear and fore grip design to maximise leverage and handling control. BCM561 4-6KG 5’6”
The 4-6kg baitcaster is a traditional creek and river rod. The shorter rod and butt length is specifically designed for close quarters boat fishing where short-range underhand casts into snags are critical. It’s perfect for working hardbodies, vibes and plastics in tropical mangrove creeks and inland rivers for barramundi and Murray cod. The shorter length improves handling and casting control in tight waterways with minimal casting space. The blank is light but powerful and great for diving bibbed hardbodies down around timber. This model comes equipped with a low profile carbon locking nut and a compact butt system for excellent grip and manoeuvrability. It’s a proven design with a modern edge.

BCMH601 5-8KG 6’
The 5-8kg 6’ model is a great option for impoundment and dam fishing or for heavy-duty river fishing. The additional length enables longer casts across weed beds or open water and the larger split-grip design provides plenty of fighting leverage. This rod is ideal for rolling soft plastics and vibes across weed beds, along rocky points and through fields of openwater timber. This is the trophy-hunting rod for barra and cod dams such as Faust, Kinchant, Awonga and Copeton.
