With our newest iteration we've added a bunch of great features to the product that launched Oru Kayak— a closed-cockpit performance kayak that's sporty, versatile, and light. We've made it even more durable, with new aluminum cockpit latches and extra-reinforced strap anchor points. Its updated print pattern is all about going back to our origami roots. The Bay ST is built for a wide variety of water types and conditions and holds enough gear for overnight trips.

Features & Tech

Seamless deck closure

4 zipper channels close and seal the deck. They’re easy to install, watertight, and make a rock-solid deck once assembled.

Sturdy coaming

This is the fancy word for the rim around the cockpit — it reinforces the kayak and lets you wear a spray skirt for keeping safe and dry in open water. For 2021, we've upgraded to custom marine-grade aluminum latches to secure the two halves together.

Adjustable backrest

The fully adjustable backrest provides support and comfort for paddlers of all sizes. It can be lowered to accommodate a spray skirt.

Deck lines

No-stretch lines are easy to grab for safety. The bungee web in front of the cockpit is great for stashing a water bottle, small drybag, or other gear.
