• The Leg Anchor plates allow the awning legs to be detached from the side of the van or motorhome and allows them to be stood vertically and securely anchor them by screwing in a ground dog on either side of the leg. (No more awning leg to walk into)!

G2 Ground Dogs, our second generation screw in pegs have been designed by Outback Tracks from the ground up to be used in the widest possible ground types, from soft sandy grass covered soil through to the hardest ground possible.

They are unlike all other so-called “screw in pegs”

They are not batten screws or coach bolts dressed up as screw in pegs!

• Made from marine grade stainless steel.
• Tapered shaft with self-drilling tip for better penetration.
• Large LEFT-HAND thread for better holding power.
• Thread stops 20mm below the head to allow Hook Collar to freely rotate.
• 19 mm head, so same socket as stabiliser legs can be used.
• Manual winder for stabiliser legs can be used to drive Ground dogs in and remove.
• Easy in, even easier to get out!
• Each Ground Dog comes with a Hook Collar, designed to be used as a locking nut in extremely hard ground.
• Hook design makes it easy to attach Safety Spring.
• Hook Collar also fits original Ground Dogs.

Additional information

At last you can securely anchor your awning leg vertically when detached from the side of your Caravan/Motorhome.

Once the leg has been detached & positioned, simply  slip the Anchor plate over the bar on the foot of the awning leg,  & drill in the four Ground Dogs, use the extra Ground Dogs to add a tie down for extra security.
