The Hayman Reese brake controller has a feature called 'Sync-Control' where the driver can choose the rate of brake application from soft to hard by adjusting the control forward or backward. Trailer brakes may also be manually applied by squeezing the manual control section, located on the front of the Hayman Reese brake controller. This would be needed in rapidly changing situations such as a very steep hill so this handy little device will automatically activate the trailer and tow vehicle's stop lights when brakes are applied suddenly.
