• Our jigs come in a range of natural and lumo colours, in Sizes 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 – different colours and Sizes will work for different fishing environments and squid will react differently depending on how actively they’re feeding

Fishing style

• If you’re fishing at the start or end of the tide, when the flow isn’t as strong, then the smaller 2.0-3.0 jigs are ideal as they will sink slower and be in the strike zone for a longer period
• As the tide flow increases, it’s recommended switching to bigger 3.5 Sized jigs
• If you’re fishing at first light or in low light conditions, use darker coloured jigs
• On sunny days and when fishing in clear water, natural or white coloured jigs tend to work better
• When the water conditions are slightly murky, a lumo or “glow” jig will work better
• It’s always recommended that you carry a good selection of jigs (colours and Sizes) to test out what is working on the day
