The original Freedom Grand Slammer was the lure used by Alain Jorion when he landed his world record 473kg black marlin in February 2002.
The heads of our XT lures are manufactured using XtraTuff technology – a high tech resin material that improves the strength and durability of the heads, meaning they won’t crack or break under pressure.
The Slammer XT is a keel weighted, slant faced lure, making it ideal for targeting marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna and mahimahi.
Available Unrigged, rigged with 400lb Tough Trace and a 10/0 closed gape hook, or Double rigged with 2 x 10/0 closed gape game hooks.
