What size camping stretcher do you need?
Our range includes camping stretcher beds in a range of sizes including queen, double, single and kids sizes.
Depending on your height and weight, camp stretchers are designed to either be heavy duty steel or aluminium. For children and small adults, the Oztrail Easy Fold Camp Stretcher – Low Rise Single is a clear choice. Measuring at 64cm across and rising off the ground by only 25cm, makes getting in and out of your swag easier and safer for small kiddos. This camping stretcher is also our favourite for functionalty with it's convenient accessories like the built in shoe holder and phone/device holders. For medium size adults up to 150kg, the Oztent Goanna Stretcher is perfect for long getaways or just the weekend. It comes in a durable carry bag and weighs in at just 11kg. Being higher off the ground, it is more ideal for adults when putting shoes on and packing up. The widest frame camping stretcher we stock is the Darche XL Ultra Camp Stretcher. It is a high quality, sturdy design which allows for a wider swag and is better suited to larger adults.
Many of the camp stretchers we stock are a super easy set up and pack down. However, keep in mind that there are two keys styles of camp stretchers. The first being a cross leg stretcher that keeps the ends taught with the use of an additional bar. The pros of this is that your mattress and pillow are more likely to stay on the camp stretcher overnight. This design does sway more, meaning less stability. The other camping stretcher type is an easy fold design that gives you faster set up and pack down, more rigidity and less sway.
