Trail-A-Mate

The Trail-A-Mate brand is an Australian owned and operated company, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality hydraulic jacks for caravans and trailers. They’re two core products are the original Trail-A-Mate Jack / Jockey Wheel for caravans and trailers and the Trail-A-Make MkII Jack / Jockey Stand for larger caravans and trailers. Not only have they cornered the market with quality caravan jacks, they have also included into their range of products a jockey wheel anti-theft lock and wheel brace. 

Trail-A-Mate is a hydraulic jockey wheel that converts into a jack - simply swap the wheel for a solid base plate. Great for caravanning, horse floats, trailers, food vans, motorhomes and anything else that can be hauled and stored. 

Our favourite type of product is always one that has multiple applications, in fact it is so extremely versatile it’s even used by the Australia Defence Force. A 3-in-1 product saves you having to purchase levellers and chocks. By adding a Trail-A-Mate to each corner of a vehicle it can be adjusted and locked into position. It can even be used to safely level a caravan on un-even ground.  

In addition to its versatility, Trail-A-Mate have spent many years perfecting and refining the product to be as safe and easy to use as possible. Leading up to 2007 they were also working with the Australian Government to assist in introducing a Mandatory Safety Standard for Caravan and Trailer Jacks. Each year in Australia around 160 accidents are linked to the misappropriate use of vehicle jacks.
